259. That’s the number of Ohio men and women who lost their lives in the War on Terror. A beautiful and permanent memorial in our town, Sunbury, Ohio was dedicated in June 2007 to honor these military heroes. Rows of white crosses inscribed with the name of each hero line the lush grass at the Ohio Fallen Heroes Memorial. A granite statue of our state, benches for reflection and other tributes complete the scene. It’s a serene place to visit, to take in the surroundings and say thanks to the men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice for our country following its most devastating attack in modern history.
This memorial inspires us to do our part in thanking Ohio’s military heroes for their service. Muth and Company is participating in GAF’s Roofs for Troops program.
