Just wanted to say thanks again for doing such a good job on our roof last fall. I walked all 33 squares of it yesterday just to be sure we didn't have any damage before I sent this, and we didn't. We had 76 mph straight-line winds, and small branches all over it, but there wasn't one ding, one bent or cracked shingle, nothing. It looks like it did the day your crew laid it down. Couldn't ask for better.

Thank you for organizing the excellent job by your company when you repaired the hail damaged roof and guttering.

Your help with my insurance company led to them covering all the costs. You will recollect that State Farm's initial position was that there was no hail damage to the shingles.

I appreciated being kept informed of the effect of weather delays. With other companies I am often left in the position of wondering if I have been forgotten.

We did have a couple of problems. As soon as I mentioned them to you they ceased to be problems.

I enclose the report I have sent to Angie's list. You will see that I have nominated you for their "Page of Happiness" award.

I would like to just write you a short note commending the professionalism and the work I received on my roof from Lori of your company. She is the ultimate professional and always kept me "in the loop" of what was happening with the repair.

Lori initially came to look at the damage done from the ice dam we had this last winter and what would need to be done to make sure it didn't happen again. This was our second ice dam in two years and the company that repaired the inside last year had looked at the roof and didn't see anything that needed to be done at that time. Obviously something should have been done since it happened once again this last winter. When Lori came to look at the roof, she knew exactly what would be needed to fix it and I was confident that this would be done. It did involve a few things, which she explained thoroughly and I was knew I would be satisfied when everything was finished.

Because of time and weather, the repair was changed several times, but she always called me early in the day to keep me posted on what was going to be happening. I really appreciated that since most companies keep you hanging for hours on end from the time they say they will be there.

It was so refreshing to see someone with so much pride in their work.

My husband has been in the customer service industry for 28 years and we know that a little positive customer service goes a long way. I would not hesitate for a second to recommend your company to others as I was very impressed.

I just wanted to write you a short note to congratulate you on the continued growth of your business. I had a feeling when you and Todd did my roof many years ago that your, then young, company was destined to be successful, and I was right. Congratulations.

I also want to comment on the crew you sent to do my repair work earlier this week. I was very impressed with their skills, their dedication to doing the job right and the level of professionalism they showed. As I'm sure you know, finding a crew that can offer any one of those qualities is rare, but when you get all three... that ' s exceptional and very welcome. From the very beginning, I felt very confident about their abilities and I wasn't disappointed. On top of all that, they were just nice guys to have around. The entire experience was a good one and you and they should be commended,

While I'm in the mood for passing our praise, let me say I was also, once again, very impressed with Laurie's knowledge and abilities as well. Her work in the neighbor in the past has been excellent and also has received many good reviews from my neighbors. She too is a pleasure to work with.

By the way, I'm so confident that Laurie correctly identified my problems and the guys who made the repairs more than solved them all, that I'm writing this note before the first rain.

This is a long overdue letter to commend you, your employees and GAF for outstanding service, workmanship, a quality product and a real warranty.

As a result of the hailstorm of 2003 my insurance company determined that I needed a new roof I determined that I wanted a quality roof, as a roof problem usually leads to structural problems, interior problems and significant expense. In my research I discovered that most roof problems are a result of poor planning and installation, inadequate ventilation and inadequate products.

In addition, I learned that most roofing companies are out of business or out of town within five years and when the homeowner has a problem they cannot find the roofer and thus they have a worthless warranty. Furthermore, I wanted a product that would have top of the industry protection in the valleys, around the chimneys and along the eves. Based on my research I decided to take bids from three reputable local companies, that had been in business a decade or longer and were on Angie's List.

When I told you what protection I wanted, you had the right answers and the right products based on my research and didn't try to cut corners to keep your material expenses down. You had great supervision, you did not subcontract; you personally made the estimate and personally followed-up with supervision. GAF appeared to have the best warranty. Your price was competitive.

Three years later I can say that I am even more pleased now than when I received the new roof. Anytime I call or stop in you and your employees treat me as a friend more than a customer. In addition, when some algae started growing in an area untouched by the sun you and GAF fixed the problem in both a financial way and practical way, far beyond my expectation.
